I would also like to take a moment to congratulate our fellow Para British Sailor Rory McKinna for his amazing 4th place in the Men’s Hansa at this event.
And final thanks must go to all the volunteers and organisations who supported me with funding, training and kit: Carsington Sailability – Carsington Sailing Club, Blackwell Sailing & Jonny Cormack , Musto, EMCTrust , Royal Southern Yacht Club Grant and the Association of Royal Navy Officers (ARNO).
This has been an incredible experience at which I have learnt so much and met some amazing people. I can’t wait until my next adventure, and hope that I am able to help inspire more young female disabled individuals into our brilliant sport.
I managed to secure a place on Ilca Skills week at WPNSA and also entered the ILCA Nationals at HISC.
The RS Feva World Championships took place in Follonica
